15th Annual Bocce Bash benefiting Special Olympics SC

CHARLESTON, SC – May 4, 2015 – On Sunday, April 26th, Wall Templeton & Haldrup spent the day “having fun – while doing good.” The 15th Annual Bocce Bash was held at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island to fundraise for the Special Olympics SC.

Wall Templeton & Haldrup competed with two teams,“I wanna dance with some Bocce” and “Dum Spiro Bocce” (which means, “While I breathe, I bocce”).  The firm’s team made it to the Sweet 16 out of 132 total teams.

The annual event raised more than $65,000 that will go towards ensuring Special Olympics athletes are able to receive proper sporting equipment and coaching year-round, as well as transportation and accommodations to State, National, and World Games.

With more than 500 people in attendance, the weather was perfect for a great day of bocce, food trucks, friends, family and good quality fun–all while doing good.
